Training Management Plan

OJT Implementation for Module One
  • OJT trainers will follow the seven-step approach to training - They will tell, show and demonstrate skills to trainee. then...
  • The trainee will tell, show and practice doing the skill.
  • The trainer will evaluate the trainee using the skills checklist.

Classroom Implementation for Module Two
  • The trainer will be responsible for the following activities:
    • Submit in-service proposal to administration via MyLearningPlan.com
    • Submit building/room use form to building secretary
    • Contact participants via email two weeks prior to training session and remind them to bring a worksheet saved in PDF format
    • Contact participants to confirm training location and time 3-5 days prior to training
    • Prepare presentation and practice
    • Facilitate training
  • The participants will be responsible for:
    • Enrolling in course via MyLearningPlan.com
    • Completing prerequisite activities

Pilot

  • A pilot group consisting of 15 WMS teachers completed the pilot training for Module Two on August 25, 2009.
  • The group was made up of teachers from both 7th and 8th grade.
  • The group included various subject areas: Math, LA, FACS, Foreign Language, Tech Ed, Computer Apps, Social Studies, Music and Science.
  • Following the pilot group training, some adjustments were made to the sequencing of skills.
